Seafloor spreading and continental drifting by Tyler

                           Continental drifting

- the movement of the Earth's continents relative to each other

1. the continents slowly move away from each other
2. you can find fossils in places like Africa that are the same as the fossils in the U.S.
3. you can find the same species of birds or other animals in places like Australia as you can Africa
4. same mountains in the U.S. as in other continents

Seafloor Spreading
when the sea floors get bigger/ expand
1. under water ridges---What evidence is save in the the ridges that is proof of sea floors spreading
2.  as you go farther out in the ocean the land is older than it is when you are closer to the land.
