Continental drift/ seafloor spreading- Olivia

Continental drift is when the continents move apart from each other. Rock, glacier, coal, and fossil clues are all evidence that continental drifting has occurred. Rock clues show evidence that different mountain ranges of different continents have that same kind of rock. When glaciers move across rocks it leaves a mark on the rock in tropical areas rocks have these marks and are evidence. In cold places like Antarctica have coal, coal is made when plants die, this shows that they used to be tropical places but because of continental drift they have moved to colder areas.
 Fossil clue
Seafloor spreading occurs when a volcano erupts and create  a mountain on the ocean floor. When molten lava goes to the surface of the ocean floor it soon cools. After as more lava erupts the earlier cooled lava spreads farther out.

2 Proofs of sea floor spreading?

  1. I like how you told us about what happens during seafloor spreading. You used great detail into each of your paragraphs. Also I like that you showed us to photos of what each of them are. Good Work!
