Identify the Symbiosis by Faith

In this photos the Lichens on the piece of wood are helping the wood. Lichens are made up of alga or a cyanobacterium that lives within the tissues of a fungus. When plants go through photosynthesis the cyanobacterium supplies energy to the fungus or itself. The Lichens gain from the wood because working together they make energy and protein so that the wood can live. The wood is giving the lichen a place to live so both the lichens and the piece of wood benefit so the symbiosis is mutualism.

Here is a photo of the wood.
