  2. Pangea was once called the "super-continen." Pangea contained all of the continents. The theory was that all of the continents were locked together at onne point. The first person to pronounce this theory was Alfred Wegener. He was a German meteorologist. The separation of the continents was known as plate tectonics.

  3. Pangaea is when the continents were formed as one. They split apart and that is what we know of our world today. Pangaea means all lands. The face of the earth is still changing today. It will always change as long as the earth's crust has heat.

  7. The theory of Pangaea came from a man named Alfred Wengener. His theory started with the theory of continental drift. The theory came from fossils being found on different continents that were the same. The name comes from Greek words Pan and Gaia, Pan meaning entire and Gaia meaning earth.

  9. Pangaea is one of the last super continents. There may have been several before it. The reason scientists believe that Pangaea once existed is because of fossils of the same or similar species that are scattered across the continents
