Newtons Third law Pushing the Limits

    As you run you push off with your feet then go back down on them which allows you to run.

    1)the opposite way of which way you are going.

    2)cause then you can go forward and go faster.

    3)by slowing down and then comeing to a stop.

  3. When you run in the direction you exert force is the opposite way you run. Friction helps the runner by catching their feet on the track, that's why they wear spikes. The athlete will stop at the end of this sprint by changing her exerted force.

  4. the runner is being effected by newton's third law, because she is pushing down on the earth, and the earth is pushing back so she continues to move.

    1. When you are running the force you are using is being exerted forward and downward.
    2. Friction helps a runner at the beginning of the race to get traction.
    3. He will stop using friction.

    When you run you are pushing off of earth, and the earth is pushing off of you with and equal amount of force. When a runner needs to stop at the finish line they need friction to have there feet stop. Friction helps the runner stop, before they run into someone.

  8. Newton's Third Law of Motion is for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. The runner is applying force to the ground which is the action. In return the ground is pushing back on the runner which is the reaction.
    1. When you run, your body exerts downward force.
    2. Friction helps runners keep their grip and not slide all over.
    3. The athlete will stop at the end of the sprint by applying less force toward the ground.

  11. Newton's Third Law applies to the story because the action is the person running and putting a force on the Earth. The opposite force is the one the Earth returning the force and the reaction is the person running forward. When your running your body is exerting an opposite force. Friction helps the runner build up speed in the beginning of the race and stop in the end of the race. The runner is going to stop by slowing down (giving off less force) and then they will stop.

  12. Running is an example of Newton's Third Law because your feet push against the ground and the ground is pushing back the same force that you put on it.

    1. When you run, your body exerts force down because your are exerting force toward the ground and the ground is giving back.

    2. Friction helps the runner by helping keep the runner from falling. It also helps her keep her speed until she/he needs to stop.

    3. At the end of the race the athlete will stop by trying to get more friction to help.
