Evidence of
Evolution:
1.
Studying
Fossils: many organisms have changed over time; in rocks more than one
billion years old, only fossils of single-celled organisms are found. Most
fossils are found in sedimentary rock. A fossil record provides evidence that
living things have evolved.
2.
DNA: by comparing DNA sequences of genes
from one organism to another, we can learn an enormous amount about their
relationships. DNA defines who we are, but our DNA, which encodes us, was
actually able to determine its own sequence, using people as a tool for the process.
3. Homologous
Structures: they are similar in function; they indicate that two r more
species share common ancestors. They are made up of the same kind of bones;
body parts that are similar in origin and structure are called homologous.
