Vocabulary In Action- Chapter 24

Population- The population is all of the same species living in one community. The horses all live together and graze the grass. They also roam and run together.
Community- different species that live together in one community. The flies and horses live together in the community.

Producers- An organism that produces energy that comes from the sun. The flowers collect all the sunlight and the releases it.
Ecosystem- the ecosystem is the living organisms that live around the nonliving in a environment. th dirt, fly, and horeses all live together in the same ecosystem.

Vocabulary In Action-Chapter 24

Ecosystem- is all the plants, animals, and micro-organisms living in a single place at a given time. Some examples you can go to find a ecosystem is the park, a lake, and a farm. The bug, bird, and fly are the park.

Producer- is when something produces more of that thing or some thing else out it. In these photos the producers give off oxogen so we can breathe.

Vocabulary in Action - Chapter 24

Habitat - The area that animals reside, they support food, shelter, and water.

Population - Where certain species reside in one habitat

Biotic: living organisms making up an environment

Vocab in Action Chapter 24 By: Spencer

Habitat-a habitat is a place where an animal lives; a habitat provides shelter, food, and a place to live.

This is a habitat for a ground squirrel. This hole provides shelter, food, and a place to store food. Without this habitat the ground squirrel wouldn't be able to survive properly.

Population- All the organisms of the same species that live in an area at the same time.

This is a population of ants. This is a population of ants because it is more than one anthill in one area. Also the ants are the same species.

Community-is all the populations of all species living in an ecosystem.

These pictures are pictures of a fly, ants, and a robin. These pictures together represent a community. They represent a community because they are different populations in the same area.

Ecosystem-consists of all the organisms living in an area, as well as the nonliving parts of that environment.

All of these pictures together represent an ecosystem. It represents an ecosystem because they are all of the living and nonliving organisms in    a community.

Vocabulary in Action- Chapter 24

Community- This picture represents a community. The tree is a home to many birds and squirrels. It protects them from predators and other dangers. A community is a group of species living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common.

Ecosystem- This picture represents an ecosystem. A biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment. The goats are interacting with the ducks and sharing the watering hole.

Abiotic- In this picture you see an abiotic element. Abiotic is a non-living organism. The dirt is non-living because it does not reproduce or does not create more from a single organism.

Producers- This picture represents a producer. The tree produces oxygen that will be released in the air for consumers to receive. The tree creates oxygen when the carbon dioxide is exchanged from us.

Community - all the populations of all the species in an ecosystem. these photos show crows, flies, and ants in the park witch make them a community.

Population - The number of one species in a ecosystem. In these photos there are 2 guinea pigs 1 boxcilder bug.

Vocabulary In Action- Chapter 24

Habitat- A habitat is a pace where an animal lives. A habitat provides food, shelter and is located in an area with a suitable climate.

Population- the same species living in one area.

Biosphere-  The biosphere is a part of the earth that supports life.

Biotic- Biotic can be anything living or that has once lived.
